Secondary Education students organized an event for Dr. Walsh-Coates’ Principles of Learning, SEU312 class. The students hosted a screening of the movie “Race to Nowhere,” organized a bake sale, contacted local businesses and asked for donations for a basket auction. All together the students raised over $500 in about a month. All the money was used to purchase school supplies for South Mountain and Northwest middle schools. Their efforts and the donations of many people should be acknowledged and praised. Thank you to all those involved!
